Worth thinking about...
"For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse" (Romans 1:20).

If you haven't heard about The Secret yet you will. The Secret, a 216 page book, written by Rhonda Byrne was published in November, 2006. Since then it has turned into a publishing phenomenon and what "could be the fastest-selling book of its kind in the history of publishing" (Newsweek). Oprah Winfrey and Larry King have dedicated entire shows to talking about it, and as a result it has rocketed to the top of the best seller list.

Well, there are some serious problems with the book and DVD by the same title. The book claims to offer its readers the secret "to everything - the secret to unlimited joy, health, money, relationships, love, youth: everything you have ever wanted." As Don Whitney points out, The Secret is nothing other than the "Name It and Claim It, Positive-Confession, Prosperity Theology (minus God and the Bible), built on a foundation of New Age self-deification."
